Overview
The LELink OBD II Bluetooth adapter is one of the easiest ways to use LeafSpy Pro with a Nissan Leaf on iOS or Android.
It connects to your phone or tablet using Bluetooth LE and allows the LeafSpy Pro app to read useful battery and vehicle data from your Leaf, including battery state of health, cell voltages, diagnostic trouble codes, battery temperature data, charging information, and more.
If you own a Nissan Leaf, or you are checking one before buying, this is one of the most useful tools you can keep in the glovebox.
Best for
- Nissan Leaf owners wanting to monitor battery health with LeafSpy Pro
- Checking battery state of health before buying a used Leaf

How to use with LeafSpy Pro
- Download LeafSpy Pro from your phone’s app store.
- Plug the LELink adapter into your Leaf’s OBD II port.
- Turn the car on.
- Open LeafSpy Pro with Bluetooth enabled. The app should automatically find and connect to the LELink adapter from inside the app.
Troubleshooting connection issues
- Do not try to pair the LELink adapter through your phone’s normal Bluetooth settings. It connects through the LeafSpy Pro app.
- If LeafSpy Pro does not connect, turn Bluetooth off and back on, then reopen LeafSpy Pro and try again.
- If your phone has connected to the car stereo or another Bluetooth device first, this can sometimes stop LeafSpy Pro connecting to the LELink adapter. Turning Bluetooth off and back on usually fixes this.
Important notes
- LeafSpy Pro is not included and must be downloaded separately from your app store.
- LeafSpy Pro is normally a paid app.
- The LELink is a generic OBD2 Bluetooth LE dongle, but is fully compatible with LeafSpy Pro and commonly recommended for this use.
- Compatibility with other vehicles, apps, or functions is not guaranteed.
