Drive EV Strut Cap Covers V1
These have been replaced by a much better version that is virtually indestructible. These could be al ittle fiddly to install, and if not well aligned, could snap the mounting ring.
The new design is better in many ways, so these are just a run out of some last stock at a discounted price if anyone wants some, but we wont be making these anymore.
We recommend you clean out the strut tops, rust protect them how you see fit (pack them full of grease, spray on CRC, WD40 or Silicone etc), and apply the covers. The covers are 3D printed, and are a nice snap on fit. They are somewhat porous in nature, so we suggest you coat the back of the cap as well to aid in waterproofing.
We have only just started using these, and we obviously don't know the long term effectiveness. What we do know is that the older plastic caps don't fit that great, have a hole in the top, often let in water, and sometimes even pop off completely. So we believe that these caps will be much better, even if not perfect.
