Leaf strut caps (pair) that cover the ENTIRE top!
These are our Version 2 design, and these are an improvement on the previous one in that they:
- Virtually Indestructible
- Seals Better
- Easilly Removable for Inspections
- Extended Drip Edge
We recommend you clean out the strut tops, rust protect them how you see fit (pack them full of grease, spray on CRC, WD40 or Silicone etc), and apply the covers. The covers are 3D printed, and are a nice snap on fit. They are somewhat porous in nature, so we suggest you coat the back of the cap as well to aid in waterproofing.
We have been using 3d printed caps for years, and they overall worked great! The previous design used a different method to clip onto the strut top, and had to be well aligned before trying to pop it in, or it could snap the mounting ring. These rely on the rubber bendable corners of the strut top to lock them in place and won't break when installing or removing to inspect them over time.
These will outlive your love for the car, and we'll replace them for free if they don't!
