Tesla Model S / X 5.3kWh 22.5V Battery Module, perfect for EV conversions or Solar Power
Very hard to find!
These are used Tesla battery modules from a Tesla Model S. I know they are in fantastic condition because they were going beautifully when I removed them from my 2017 50,000km 75kWh car (I upgraded to a 100kWh pack). At the time of removal they were showing a useful 69kWh which is 92% of the rated capacity.
These are near the best battery on the market for energy density. They are wonderfully built & packaged. They are comprised of 444 ‘18650‘ Lithium Ion 3400mAh cells arranged in a 74p6s configuration. They are rated at 500 amps, 750 amps peak. They have an integrated liquid coolant system so you can heat or cool them if needed but they can also be air cooled in light duty cycle applications. They also have an integrated connector with cell level connectivity for BMS systems and two integrated thermistors.
They are used in classic car EV conversions, home energy storage and very fancy tiled flooring (one of those may be a lie).
Price is for 1 module.
